Setup Contact Page in an Elegant Themes’ Theme
If you are using a WordPress theme from Elegant Themes, then its really easy to setup a contact page, since all the themes from Elegant Themes already have a built in contact page template.
To create a contact page, create a new page, and choose the Contact Page template for it in the Page Attributes panel in right side.
Once you choose the contact page template, some new options will appear just below it in the ET Page Templates meta box.
- If you want the contact page to be full width, then check the full width option.
- The Regenerate captcha numbers option, if checked, will create new captcha numbers if a users fills the captcha wrong. If this options is not checked, the numbers will remain same, and the user will be prompted to retry the captcha, if he is wrong.
- Fill your email address in the Email To option. The email from the contact form will be sent to this email address.
That’s it. Publish the page and the contact form will appear on it.
If you also want to add some text and/or images above the contact form, then add it in the contact page body.

Thanks for this tip. I use ET for several wordpress websites that I own. Normally, I use contactform 7, but I like the “look” ET offers. I’m gonna switch all my sites contact pages!
Thanks!
Is there a way to add more fields to this form?
Thanks.
Thanks! I was looking every where but the most logical place to enter the email address and there didn’t seem to be any documentation at ET. One question: Is it possible to add more than one recipient?
I just tried entering 2 recipients in the page template (separated by a comma) and it worked well.
I have tried ET Themes on 2 sites that use GoDaddy hosting. The contact page will not work.
The first line: session_start(); must be commented out to get rid of the errors at the top of the page and then the form does not work.
Any ideas?
Thanks.

Its probably an issue with your web host. Please contact your web host and ask them if the php mail() function is configured properly.
